2. In short

This website is purely informational. It sets no cookies, uses no tracking or web analytics and loads nothing from third parties: fonts, images and scripts are served from this domain. There are no forms and no user accounts.

3. Hosting and server log data

This website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open a page, your browser transmits technical connection data that Cloudflare processes on our behalf to deliver and protect the website, in particular:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of access
  • requested page or file and amount of data transferred
  • HTTP status code
  • browser type and operating system (user agent)
  • referrer URL

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the reliable, secure and fast delivery of the website, including protection against attacks. We do not combine this data with other data and do not use it to identify visitors.

Cloudflare processes the data as our processor under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, so transfers take place on the basis of the adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR; in addition, EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR apply.

4. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number, content of your message) to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We delete the data once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention periods apply.

5. Links to other websites

This website links to other websites, for example ntfy.sh. Data is only transferred to those providers when you follow such a link; their own privacy policies apply there.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, write to hello@sshbuddy.com.
